This article seems to suggest that the inroads into our privacy may be even deeper that we think.
I know there are times that I sacrifice my privacy for a benefit (like the free movie ticket I used last night from the theater's loyalty card program) but in those cases were I decide to make the trade-off (in this case, between someone knowing what movies I've seen and the savings).
