Since I've seen this a couple different places (after clicking on emailed links from friends... thanks, guys......), here goes:
1. Do you like blue cheese? Yes.
2. Have you ever done something you regretted? Who hasn't?
3. Do you own a gun? Never touched one; have no plans to ever do so. (Chicken or egg? this experience/attitude and 22 years of officailly being a member of one Friends meeting or another?)
4. What flavor of Kool Aid was your favorite? Never liked it much; Mum didn’t believe in it, so we rarely had it. But it makes great yarn dye ;-)
5. Do you get nervous before doctor appointments? No.
6. What do you think of hot dogs? Kosher all beef, done on the grill in Maine.
7. Favorite Christmas movie? Don't have one. Favorite holiday movie is Ushpizin (for Sukkot).
8. What do you prefer to drink in the morning? Tea, Earl Grey, hot.
9. Can you do push ups? Yes.
10. Favorite hobby? Knitting and genealogy. Don't make me decide -- that would not be pretty. I would get all indecisive and pouty at having to choose….
11. Do you have A.D.D.? No.
12. What's one trait you hate about yourself? Too many to list ;-)
13. Middle name? Joan - for one of the most wonderful people in the world!
14. Name 3 thoughts at this exact moment? a) ugh, work b) a week without driving after the surgery? I'm such a good passenger……not! grin c) time for more caffeine
15. Name 3 drinks you regularly have? Tea, water, an occasional glass of wine
16. Current hate right now? People who spout off on Internet sites when they are completely ignorant of facts. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, but not their own facts…….
17. Favorite place to be? Maine.
18. How did you bring in the New Year? Two days of synagogue, punctuated by lots of good food, and challah or apples with honey.
19. A place would you like to go? Only one? Hmmm…Maine's a given. After that…… Israel. Scotland. Korea. Turkey. Australia. Antarctic. Ireland. England. A tour of the Jewish neighborhoods of Europe - from Spain to Greece to Ukraine to Ireland - with an add-on of the historically Jewish areas of Morocco, Iran, India, central Asia, and so on…..
20. Name three people who will complete this. No idea -but have fun with it ;-)
21. Do you have slippers? No -- barefoot all the way.
22. What shirt are you wearing? Plain white blouse. But accented with a hand knit shawl/cape (a blue version of this -- a wonderful quick and easy knit - and very luxurious when done in 100% alpaca.....) to escape complete boring-ness.
23. Do you like sleeping on satin? Nah - flannel's nicer and cozier.
24. Can you whistle? Not well.
25. Would you be a pirate? Nah. I'd get a sore throat from all the arrrrrggggghs.
26. What songs do you sing in the shower? Have you heard me sing? No? There's a reason for that.....
27. Favorite girl's name(s)? Classics like Margaret, Catherine, Elizabeth, Charlotte, and Caroline. Biblical like Sarah, Rebecca/Rivkah, Miriam, Abigail, Esther, Naomi, and Hannah. And some old-fashioned ones: Grace, Bethiah (used in both Scotland and colonial New England), and so on.
28. What's in your pocket right now? The earrings I didn't get in yet. And likely some lint and cat hair. 'Cuz the cat hair is everywhere….
29. Last thing that made you laugh? The video of the broccoli eating cat.
30. Favorite bed sheets as a child? Whatever was there....
31. Worst injury ever? Shoulder was hurt in a car accident 5 years ago (idiot driving an SUV paid no attention to stopped traffic and rear ended my car……) - still sometimes bothers me, despite 6 months of physical therapy.
32. Do you like where you live? Not really - apartment is ok, but I’d rather be closer to the city (less driving, nearer the things I want to do) or further out (have some space and a garden). But where we are now is convenient for getting to work……. And I really don't want to think about packing and moving all our books -- and the picture is just one small part of the collection…..
33. How many TVs do you have in your house? One. I have a love/hate relationship with TV - I've had long stretches without one, but I do like to watch some things (although the DVD watching is greater than the actual TV watching) while knitting.
34. Who is your loudest friend? Yael? And even she's not that loud in the overall grand scheme of things -- it's relative thing......
35. How many dogs do you have? None. If I lived full time somewhere like the Point, I'd have a couple bigger dogs (retrievers, setters, that sort of thing……I tend to like the big breeds that need a fair amount of space to run) But I'm much more a cat person.
36. Does someone have a crush on you? Not likely.
37. What is your favorite book? That's a mean question - I have too many favorites to list; which ones make the top 36 fluctuates with my mood…...
38. What is your favorite candy? Good chocolate. And I have a real soft spot for the mint Aero bars, which are (fortunately!) not easily available in the US [Wegman's has the regular but not the mint ones].
39. Favorite Sports Team? Sabres, Sox, Bills - pretty much in that order.
40. What song do you want played at your funeral? Everyone singing Adon Olam as loudly and enthusiastically as possible…...More here with audio here and here.

Who is your loudest friend? Yael?" Dearest only when I am highly perturbed. But otherwise Chaviva is FOR SURE the loudest among us.
The candy shop down the street from my house has mint Aero bars from time to time. I will keep an eye out.
Well, Yael..... see, here's what happened.... I couldn't decide whether you or Chaviva was louder, siunce I'm such an indecisive person and all ;-) So I flipped a coin. Now, depending on your world view, you can take that to mean either
a) it was random chance that the flip led to you being listed
or
b) HaShem knows sometning we don't ;-)
{grinning, ducking, and running really fast....}
