Distractions

I was just about finished with the fingerless gloves












when I got a package of yarn that I won at eBay:



Even nicer in real life than in the picture, and quite a distraction.








The superfine alpaca also arrived, and so I knit up the beginning of the triangle shawl (using a double strand, as the alpaca really is superfine -- that's a double strand at the top of the picture, on size 7s) from Odd Ball Knitting:














Guess it is time to get back to the KO poncho in that dreaded acrylic.
